I'm overweight.
It feels weird to even say. I'm a size 4, how can I possibly be overweight? I work out three to five times a week, and I eat fruit and vegetables all day every day. I've even gone through the obligatory hipster vegan stage of life, and I am now 134 lbs.
I've felt like I was gaining weight for a while ... I assume most people who are overweight feel this way. I realize a size 4 isn't a number to sound the alarm, but for someone who has always been a 0 it made me think. No more ...
"But I love beer and cheese."
"I just drink a lot of beer."
"I just went back on the pill."
"It's just because I'm in a new relationship."
I think the worst thing is ... I FEEL overweight. My clothes are tight. I'm constantly tired. I can feel the difference in my body. The thing that really made me want to make a change was ... Hearing my boyfriend say "You look good to me." Yikes. I bet I would look smoking hot to him if I was my normal weight ... 10 lbs lighter.
I need to make some changes.
